GENERAL

Please register prior to submitting your abstract! ABSTRACTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED UNLESS YOUR REGISTRATION PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECIEVED AND CONFIRMED. All abstracts must be uploaded via this website. DO NOT forward any abstract through the mail. Please see the below "ABSTRACT PREPARATION" details. After uploading your abstract you will receive an email acknowledgment reply.

ABSTRACT PREPARATION
                       
                                         
Language:
The official language of the meeting is English.
Spacing:
The body of the abstract should be double-spaced as one continuous paragraph.
               
                         
Length:
The abstract should be no longer than one (1) page in length. Submission: Microsoft Word for Windows (version 6.0 or later) and Word for Mac. DOS text files cannot be used.
 
   
         
Submission:
Abstracts must be submitted through the conference website. Abstracts selected for presentation during the conference will be printed electronically from submitted material. Every effort will be made to reproduce the content of the absracts as submitted, except in certain circumstances where changes may be made to comply with formatting style. Please be sure to carefully check your absract for content errors, spelling, names, etc. before submitting.

General:

The following are general instructions for the preparation of abstracts.

 
                 
                         
               
Title:

The title should be brief, yet informative. Use a combination of upper and lower case letters.

                   
                               
             
Authors:

Full names of authors (first name, middle initial, last name) should be used. The presenting author's name should be typed in all capital letters.

                   
                               
 
Affiliations:

The author(s) affiliation(s) should contain the department, institution/company, street address (if applicable), city, state, zip code and country. If there are authors from different affiliations on the abstract, they should be designated with a superscripted Arabic numeral placed after their name with the corresponding superscripted numeral placed before the affiliation.

 
             
                   
     
Grant support acknowledgement:

Acknowledgement of grant support should be italicized and placed within brackets at the end of the abstract.

 
   
     
References:

Authors should refrain from using references in the abstract. However, if references are needed, they should be placed in parentheses within the text as follows: (Tang, Chen, and Honn (1996) Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 93:5241-5246). For references with more than three authors, the following format should be used: (Chen, et al. (1996) Cancer Res.56:3168-3172).

           
               
             
Graphics:
Authors should not place graphic materials such as structures, figures or equations in the abstract.
